My crawl space is wet/dirty. Will you still install the home charger?

Need help with your home charger?

For our home chargers, we work together with partner 50five. Therefore, first check the 50five FAQ, where you can find answers to frequently asked questions.

Our partner always works in accordance with the Well-being Act to ensure their safety and yours. A wet or dirty crawl space poses safety risks, so in most cases the installation will not be carried out if it involves risks.

What requirements must the crawl space meet?

  • It must be accessible through a hatch or door.
  • There must be enough space to work in (a minimum working height of 40 cm).
  • There must be no rubble, insulation beads, etc. on the floor. The floor must be visible.
  • The space must be dry.

Is there water in the crawl space?
If there is even a thin layer of water in the crawl space, it is not responsible to carry out the installation due to the risk of electrocution or a short circuit.

Is the crawl space damp?
In this case, additional precautions must be taken to work safely. Harmful gases may also be present in the crawl space.

Is the crawl space dirty?
In this case too, additional precautions must be taken to work safely. A final safety check will be carried out on-site to determine whether it is safe to work in the crawl space.
