Yes you can! You can also save Smiles when you charge your electric car. You can do so when you pay with your Q8 electric charging card and app either at a Q8 electric charging point or when you charge in our partner network.

How does it work?
Scan your Q8 electric card or use the Q8 app to start your charging session. Your Smiles will be automatically added to your account, so you don’t have to take any extra action.

Where can I save Smiles with electric charging?
At public Q8 electric charging points in Belgium and Luxembourg, as well as at partners’ charging points connected to the Q8 network (check the app for locations).

How many Smiles will I save with electric charging?
The number of Smiles you save depends on how many kWh you charge. This is what you’ll save:
1 Smile per kWh at Q8 (or Tango in the Netherlands) electric charging points. Tango is our sister brand in the Netherlands. 
1 Smile per 3kWh that you charge with the Q8 electric card in our partner network.

Note: you can currently only save Smiles as a private Q8 electric customer.
