Did you just receive your new Q8 electric charging card? Then you must activate it before you can use it to charge. How you do this depends on what type of customer you are.

Are you a private customer?* Follow the steps below:

You can easily activate your charging card via the Q8 app.

1. Open the Q8 app on your smartphone.
2. Go to your profile in the top right.
3. Select ‘Charging cards’.Tap ‘Activate your card’.
4. Enter the last 6 digits of your charging card number. You can find this number on the front of your charging card.
5. Confirm the activation.

Done! You can start charging right away. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours before your charging card works at all charging points in the network. Is it still not working? Then contact our customer service at Help@q8electric.be. We’ll be happy to help!

Are you a business customer?* Follow the steps below:

You activate your charging card via the activation link or QR code that you received with your charging card.

1. Scan the QR code on the accompanying letter or go to activate.q8electric.be.
2. Enter your full charging card number. You can find this on the front of your charging card.
3. Request a temporary code.
4. You will receive this code by email. 
5. Enter the code and confirm the activation.Download the Q8 electric business app and log in using the login credentials you receive by email.
6. Add your charging card in the app.
