I want to cancel my Q8 electric contract. What should I do?

The article below applies to private customers. If you are a business customer, please refer to: I would like to terminate my Q8 liberty and/or Q8 electric contract. How do I proceed?

Private users

As a private user, you can easily delete your account yourself via the Q8 electric app. Follow the steps below to do so:

  1. Log in to the Q8 app

  2. Click on the menu icon in the top left corner

  3. Scroll down and click Delete account’

  4. Confirm your choice in the pop-up

After confirmation:

  • You will no longer be able to log in to the app or the portal

  • You will receive a confirmation email

     

Important to know

Your data will be deleted in accordance with GDPR regulations and our General Terms and Conditions.

In some cases, we are legally required to retain certain data temporarily, for example:

  • in case of outstanding payments

  • for invoicing obligations

  • for the handling of possible legal claims

This data is only retained for as long as legally required.
