How can I reset my charging station in case of a malfunction?
You can reset your charging station yourself in the event of a malfunction, provided you have an Alfen or Peblar charging station and use the Q8 electric home charging portal:
- Are you a Belgian customer? Click here.
- Are you a Dutch customer? Click here.
- Are you a Luxembourg customer? Click here.
Reset as follows:
- Go to the login page and access your charging management system. Make sure you have selected the correct charging management system; otherwise, it will not be possible to log in.
- After logging in, go to ‘Charging points’ in the menu. Here you will see your own charging point.
- Click the blue charging point ID, scroll down, and select a soft reset (the power supply will be switched off and restarted).
- Check whether this has resolved the malfunction.
- If the malfunction has not been resolved by the soft reset, you can also perform a hard reset (software recovery).
If you do not have a charging management system, you can try disconnecting the charging station from the power supply in the meter cupboard. Do this for at least 15 minutes to perform a full reset.
If the above does not resolve the malfunction, please contact us.
