Why was an amount of €125 or €375 deducted from my account?
When you pay at the pump with your payment card, your bank or card issuer performs a pre-authorization. This reservation is not made by Q8. Your bank or card issuer temporarily reserves an amount between €125 and €375 because the final refueling amount is not yet known.
After refueling, the unused balance is normally released immediately. In some cases, however, your bank may keep this amount on hold for longer, sometimes up to 30 days.
The reserved amount is not charged to your account and serves only as a payment guarantee.
If you would like the amount to be released sooner, please contact your bank or card issuer.
