If I link my Q8 liberty card to the Q8 app, will my card settings be carried over when using mobile fueling?
Yes. All settings of your physical Q8 liberty card are automatically carried over to the Q8 app.
The Q8 app uses your card only to authorise the fueling transaction. None of your existing settings are changed.
Which settings are carried over?
All restrictions and settings that apply to your fuel card also apply in the Q8 app, such as:
allowed products
country or site restrictions
card or credit limits
mandatory entry of mileage and/or vehicle ID
If these details are required when using the physical card, the Q8 app will automatically prompt you for them as well.
What does not change?
Also important to know:
invoicing remains unchanged
your usage is still invoiced in the same way as with the physical card
if you pay by direct debit, this remains the same
