How are my homecharging session eing reimbursed?
In the lead-up to the installation, you received an email from our installation partner 50five requesting your bank account details. These are required to reimburse your home charging sessions. Once your charger is activated and linked to your account, the charging sessions performed with your Q8 electric charging card on your home charger will be automatically registered for reimbursement. You don’t need to do anything else — you simply charge your car, and we take care of the rest.
How it works:
Your charging sessions are grouped per month.
Your monthly sessions are “invoiced” halfway through the following month.
These “invoices” can be considered expense notes and serve as an overview only.
The reimbursement of the charging sessions takes place 4 weeks after the invoice date.
CREG
In Belgium, reimbursements for home charging sessions are based on the tariffs published by the Commission for the Regulation of Electricity and Gas (CREG). You can find the CREG tariffs here.
As of January 2025, CREG tariffs are published quarterly. This means that your charging sessions for a given quarter are reimbursed based on the average tariff of the three preceding months.
Okay… this might sound a bit confusing. Here’s a simple overview to clarify:
| Charging (Month) | Reimbursement (Month) | Applied tariff (Quarter) |
| May 2025 | July 2025 | Q1 2025 |
| June 2025 | August 2025 | Q1 2025 |
| July 2025 | September 2025 | Q2 2025 |
