An amount of €45.00 has been reserved on my account
Are you paying for your charging session at a Q8 electric charger with a bank card or credit card? Then your bank temporarily reserves €45.00 on your account. This ensures that sufficient funds are available to pay for your charging session afterward. This is called a pre-authorization.
Do you have less than €45.00 available? Your bank may then reserve part of your remaining balance.
After your charging session, the charging data is processed and only the amount for the kWh actually charged is billed. The temporary reservation is then released by your bank.
Do you still see the reserved amount on your account after charging, for example with an * or the description “reservation”? Don’t worry. Sometimes your bank needs a little more time to release the reservation. In exceptional cases, such as a technical issue, this may take several days.
Does the amount remain reserved for longer? Then contact your bank. The reservation is placed by your bank and is also released by your bank. Q8 electric only receives the amount for your actual charging session.
