What is the difference between a virtual and a physical fuel card?
With a virtual fuel card, you refuel digitally via the Q8 app or at Q8 stations in Belgium. This is mobile refuelling without a physical card. More information about mobile refuelling can be found here: Mobile refuelling – Q8. Creating a virtual card is completely free of charge.
A physical Q8 Liberty fuel card is a card that you use at the pump. Depending on your package, creating a physical card may also be free of charge. You can also link this card to the Q8 app as a payment method so that you can refuel via mobile payment with your physical fuel card as well. When you activate your physical card for use within our extended partner network in the Benelux, you can also refuel at Tango, Esso*, Shell and Texaco.
*Esso EG only.
