How can we help you?

My charging card is not accepted at a public Q8 electric charger. What can I do?

Do you want to charge your car, but the charging session won’t start? That’s frustrating, especially when you’re on the road. Fortunately, there are a few things you can easily check yourself.

1. Check your charging card

  • Check whether your charging card is active.
  • Have you only recently activated your charging card? It may take a few days before you can use it everywhere.
  • If necessary, try starting the charging session again later.

2. Check your charging card with your provider

Is your charging card still not working? Then contact the provider of your charging card. Your provider can check whether your charging card is active and suitable for charging at our charging points.

3. Check the charging station

Also take a look at the charging station itself:

  • Is the light red? There may be a malfunction.

Do you see a red light, or are you still unable to charge after these checks? Please feel free to contact us via our contact form. We’ll be happy to help you get back on the road as soon as possible. Be sure to include the following information:

  • Exact address of the charging point
  • Date and time of the charging attempt
  • Error message
