My Q8 electric business charging card is lost or stolen. What should I do?

Have you lost your Q8 electric business charging card or has it been stolen?
Block the card as soon as possible to prevent misuse.

In most cases, you can do this yourself via the Q8 electric business app or via Q8 libertyweb.

Step 1: Block the card immediately

Via the Q8 electric business app

  1. Open the Q8 electric business app

  2. Go to ‘Account’ (bottom right)

  3. Select ‘Charging cards’

  4. Choose the relevant card

  5. Click ‘Deactivate charging card’

Please note: you cannot request a new card via the app.
This can only be done via Q8 libertyweb.

Via Q8 liberty web

  1. Go to Q8 libertyweb and log in
    Unable to log in? Please consult the FAQ:
    I cannot log in to Q8 libertyweb. What should I do?

  2. Go to ‘Cards’ and select ‘Search cards’

  3. Find the relevant card

  4. Click the three dots at the end of the line

  5. Select ‘Block card’

  6. Choose the reason for blocking

  7. Indicate whether you would like to request a replacement card

After confirmation, the card will be blocked immediately.

Step 2: Check recent transactions

Do you suspect possible misuse?
Immediately review the recent transactions in the Q8 electric business app.

  1. Open the app

  2. Go to ‘Account’ (bottom right)

  3. Select ‘Transaction history’

Do you see transactions you do not recognize?

Please contact us as soon as possible via ev@q8.com.

In your email, please mention:

  • the card number

  • the suspicious transactions (date, time, amount, charging point)

  • your customer number

  • a short explanation

We will investigate your case and inform you about the next steps.
