My credit limit has been reached. What does this mean?

When your credit limit has been reached, it means that the maximum credit amount available for your entire account has been used.

The credit limit is the total amount your company can spend across all cards combined.
It is determined based on several factors, such as:

  • your estimated consumption

  • your payment behaviour

  • outstanding invoices

  • transactions that have not yet been invoiced

Each refueling or charging transaction reduces the available balance of your credit limit.

What happens when the credit limit is reached?

When the credit limit is fully used:

  • no new transactions can be carried out

  • all cards linked to the account will temporarily stop working

Once a payment has been received and processed, the paid amount is released back into your available credit limit.

Is your credit limit frequently reached?

This may indicate that your current limit is insufficient for your actual consumption.

You can request an increase by contacting credit@q8.com.
Our credit department will assess your request based on your usage and payment history.
