I’m not receiving Peppol invoices. What now?
When do you receive a Peppol invoice?
As of January 1, 2026, electronic B2B invoicing is mandatory for Belgian VAT-registered businesses. Invoices between businesses must be able to be sent and received as structured electronic invoices. Are you a Dutch or Luxembourg customer? In that case, Peppol invoicing is not mandatory.
PLEASE NOTE: Peppol invoicing only applies to transactions with your Q8 fuel card, not to transactions with your Q8 electric charging card.
How can you make sure you receive your Peppol invoice?
To receive Peppol invoices, you must first be correctly registered on the Peppol network.
Check the following:
- You have an active Peppol license with an accredited software provider
- Your business is registered on the Peppol network. You can check this via this or this link
- Your VAT or business number is linked correctly
- Your accounting software, service provider, or portal is set up to receive incoming Peppol invoices
Are you correctly registered? Then we can activate Peppol invoicing immediately when creating your contract.
